Delete Your Account

MagicMeter is developed by GV Development. If you would like to delete your account and the data associated with it, follow the steps below.

How to request account deletion

1. Send an email to guido.4thfloor@gmail.com from the email address associated with your MagicMeter account.
2. Use the subject line "Delete my MagicMeter account".
3. We will verify your identity, process the request, and confirm deletion within 30 days.

Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

• Your account credentials (email address and authentication data)
• All meters you have set up
• All meter readings, timestamps, and notes

Data that is retained

• Anonymised and aggregated analytics data — collected by Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. This data does not identify you personally and may be retained for up to 24 months from collection, in line with Firebase's retention policies.
• Data required by law — if applicable law requires us to retain certain records, we will keep only what is legally necessary and delete it as soon as the obligation expires.

Anonymous accounts

If you used MagicMeter without creating an account (anonymous / guest mode), no personal information such as an email address is stored. Uninstalling the app removes your local access to that data. If you would still like us to delete the server-side data associated with your anonymous session, contact us at guido.4thfloor@gmail.com with any details that can help us locate your account (for example, the approximate date you started using the app).
